Group Work
Week One: Initial ideas after data analyse (Drawings and images).
Week Two: Front cover template for whole group (Basic font, layout, design ideas).
Week Three: Contents page template for whole group (Basic font, layout and design ideas).
Week Four: Double page spread template for whole group (Basic font, layout and design ideas).
Week Five: Book studio and take photographs for: Front cover, Contents page and Double page spread. Experiment with both the models how they look and what they are doing and different shot types for example, low angle close up or high angle big shot.
Week Six: Edit the photographs using photoshop, edit the positioning within the magazine, change the blending options and carry on changing the photograph until you have the photo you are looking for.
Week Seven: Create mock up of Front cover, including: The text, what font, what colour and the positioning of the cover lines and explanatory text, 3 colours that will be used in the 3 colour palette.
Week Eight Create mock up of Contents page, including: The text, what font, what colour, how many columns and their position, layout of the page, what is where and the positioning of the cover lines and explanatory text.
Week Nine: Create Create mock up of Double page spread, including: The text, what font, what colour, how many columns and their position, layout of the page, what is where and the positioning of the cover lines and explanatory text.
Week Ten: Create a list for: Props, Make up and Models (Who,what, where, when).
Week Eleven: Begin to create the final: Front cover, Contents page and Double page spread. This should take less time as we will already know the layout and most of the content.
Week Twelve: Finish the Front cover, Contents page and Double page spread. Add final tweaks, check spelling and make sure everything is in the right context/postion.
